Dominick was a loving, happy little boy that loved his blanky, his little red car and dancing. The police report that Dominick abuse was the worst they’d seen.  This poor baby was kicked, punched, and tortured by his mother, Corrine Baker’s boyfriend Brandon Hayes.

Inside the apartment where Dominick lived with his mother, her boyfriend and his older brother.  Dominick cried out for help, but no one came.

Dominick’s grandmother Julie Baker says this will haunt her and everyone else until she dies.

The neighbors could hear Dominick scream for days as he was hit, burned, kicked and punched again and again. A neighbor heard little Dominick say over and over again, mommy make him stop.  But no one called. Just one phone call would have made all the difference for Dominick. Dominick loved his mommy and yet she did nothing to save him. This all began on April 8th, 2011 because Dominick had an accident on the couch.

Dr Shah was called in to help save Dominick.  He said, the image of Dominick laying on the operating table will forever haunt him. Nothing could have prepared him from what he saw.  It was clear to Dr Shah that little Dominick’s brain was not going to survive this.  Dr Shah said, when he saw, really, the full scale, the amount of violence inflicted on him, it will be etched in his memory forever.  There was not one spot on his body that wasn’t badly beaten.

There was nothing a doctor could do. Dominick Calhoun died in the hospital on April 12th, 2010.

Lily Furneaux-Wolfenbarger was only 2 years old when her stepmother murdered her. Lily's mother was very concerned that her daughter was being abused, ever since Lily's father began dating this woman. Things only continuted to get worse after the two got married. 

Lily would always cry hysterically whenever she had to go and visit her father and stepmother, and she often came back from these visits with injuries, including a burn and a black eye. Lily's mother fought with all of her power to keep Lily from having to visit her father and stepmother, but she was forced to keep sending her. 

The judge in the case concluded that there was not sufficient evidence that Lily was being abused, and told Lily's mother that she was too "obsessed" with her daughter. 

On the day that Lily passed away, her stepmother called 911, saying that she was unresponsive. The stepmother claimed that she had been in the shower with Lily, and accidentally fell on top of her. 

Lily was rushed to the hospital, but sadly could not be saved. It was found that she had died from blunt force trauma to her head, and there were also signs of sexual abuse. 

Lily's stepmother was convicted of her murder, and was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Lily was a sweet, curious, happy, and loving little girl. She was a huge fan of Barney. She enjoyed going to church, singing, and dancing. She also loved the show "Glee" and loved to watch Disney on Ice.
